Michel Ducreux is the head of GI oncology at Gustave Roussy and a leading French contributor to gastric, esophageal, and upper GI cancer clinical trials through the PRODIGE (PROgramme Dedication Investisseurs en Gastro-Enterologie) network. He co-led the ESOPEC trial comparing FLOT versus CROSS neoadjuvant strategies in resectable esophageal cancer, providing European evidence on perioperative chemotherapy versus chemoradiation. Ducreux chairs the UNICANCER GI group and has contributed to ESMO guideline development for gastroesophageal cancers. His translational research focuses on biomarker-driven patient selection for first-line gastric cancer treatment.
