Jeong Min Lee

Jeong Min Lee is a liver MRI specialist at Seoul National University who has made major contributions to hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis, staging, and characterization using hepatobiliary MRI agents. His research on gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI for HCC detection and characterization has contributed to diagnostic criteria and LI-RADS algorithm development. Lee has contributed to prospective multicenter studies validating MRI diagnostic criteria for HCC, enabling non-invasive diagnosis without biopsy in cirrhotic patients. He has been a key contributor to the Asian Pacific Association for Study of the Liver imaging guidelines and participates in international LI-RADS working groups.
