Pauline Wimberger is a German gynecologic oncologist who has contributed to AGO-OVAR trials evaluating primary versus interval debulking surgery in advanced ovarian cancer. She has been a key investigator in studies evaluating neoadjuvant carboplatin-paclitaxel followed by interval debulking and has led research on biomarkers predicting complete cytoreduction. Wimberger contributes to AGO-Ovar guideline development and European ovarian cancer consortium activities. Her research also encompasses quality of life outcomes, germline testing implementation, and novel combination chemotherapy regimens in recurrent ovarian cancer.
