Paolo Casali, MD is Director of the Adult Mesenchymal Tumor Unit at Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori Milan and the principal architect of ESMO's sarcoma and GIST clinical practice guidelines. He has led seminal GIST imatinib trials and shaped global sarcoma standards through decades of cooperative group leadership in the EORTC Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Group.
