Nadia Harbeck

Nadia Harbeck is a leading European breast oncologist specializing in biomarker-guided treatment selection and de-escalation strategies. She led the pivotal SUCCESS C trial and contributed to landmark studies establishing uPA/PAI-1 as the first prospectively validated protein biomarkers for chemotherapy decision-making in early breast cancer. Harbeck has been central to validation of multi-gene expression signatures including Oncotype DX and EndoPredict, particularly in intermediate-risk node-positive patients. She co-chairs the AGO Breast Committee and has shaped European guidelines for biomarker use in early breast cancer management.
