Jean-Yves Blay is a leading European sarcoma oncologist and director of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon, one of Europe's premier comprehensive cancer centers. He has driven landmark EORTC sarcoma trials and spearheaded the creation of the European Sarcoma Network Working Group (ESMO/EORTC). His research encompasses molecular classification of sarcomas, CDK4 amplification in well-differentiated liposarcoma, and immunotherapy approaches in sarcoma subtypes.
