Gail Darling is a Professor of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Toronto and head of the Esophageal Cancer Program at UHN, recognized internationally for minimally invasive esophagectomy and multimodal treatment of thoracic cancers. She is past president of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
