🎓Key Contributions 主要贡献

Electronic PRO Survival Benefit

Conducted the pivotal RCT showing that web-based electronic symptom monitoring during chemotherapy improved overall survival by 5 months versus standard care — the first trial to link PROs to a survival benefit.

ASCO PRO Implementation Guidelines

Led development of ASCO's clinical practice guidelines for routine PRO collection in oncology, providing a framework adopted internationally to standardize patient-centered quality measurement.

PRO Measure Development

Developed and validated multiple PRO instruments used in FDA submissions and major clinical trials, advancing regulatory acceptance of patient-reported endpoints as primary efficacy measures.
