Antonio Gonzalez-Martin is a Spanish gynecologic oncologist who served as principal investigator for the PRIMA/ENGOT-OV26 trial, one of the most practice-changing trials in ovarian cancer demonstrating niraparib maintenance benefit in all platinum-sensitive advanced ovarian cancer patients. As president of the Spanish Group for Ovarian Cancer Research (GEICO) and co-author of major ESMO/NCCN guidelines, he has shaped European ovarian cancer treatment standards. Gonzalez-Martin leads early-phase trials of novel combinations for ovarian cancer including PARP-immunotherapy combinations and antibody-drug conjugates.
