👥Biography 个人简介
Tasuku Honjo is a Nobel Laureate (2018) who discovered PD-1 and its critical role in regulating T cell responses. His work revealed that PD-1/PD-L1 interaction serves as an immune checkpoint that tumors exploit to evade immunity. This discovery led to the development of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies (pembrolizumab, nivolumab, atezolizumab) that have become standard-of-care for many cancer types.
