Gregory L. Moneta, MD, FACS is one of the most influential vascular surgeons of his generation whose mesenteric duplex criteria and society leadership have shaped clinical practice worldwide. He served as President of four major vascular societies and as Chief of Vascular Surgery at OHSU for 17 years. His 1991 landmark study established duplex velocity criteria for mesenteric artery stenosis still used today.
