Evangelos K. Oikonomou, MD, DPhil is an emerging leader in AI for cardiovascular medicine whose TARGET-AI framework and cardiomyopathy detection algorithms are transforming cardiac diagnostics. Recipient of the ASCI Emerging Generation Award (2024) and multiple Young Investigator Awards, he has 217 publications and 6,700+ citations despite being in his first faculty year at Yale.
